I was a game addict about three mouths ago.My favourate computer game is naruto-arena.I played this game for three hours a day.It has affected my chinese and math result.My Chinese marks has drop about ten marks while my Math marks has drop about twenty-five marks.To prevent my cyble addiction,I decided to do the same thing my teacher,Mrs Tan did,that is, to reflect on the purposes of playing game and to spend more time on studying instead.I now play computer games only on my free time for thirty minutes and I put priority on my study.If my friend is a game addict,I will advice them studying more and playing less to have a bright future.

Entry 19:effects of preventive measures of pupils

I think the school's preventive measures for H1N1 such as tempreture-taking,no assembly in the hall,cancellation of remedial lessons,CCA and other activities are great because it help us to prevent sickness and diseases to spread.The science high achiever have affected my science to drop.My relationship with my friends are affected since I cannot talk to my friends which is in the same CCA and high achevers.I used my extra time to talk to my friends and do more of my mothers homework.

Danny Robin bought a new milk bottle during the Great Singapore Sales at $0.50.However Mummy Di feels that the milk bottle is not user-friendly and requested Daddy Robin to buy a new milk bottle.Mummy Di complained that she has to open the cap of the milk bottle each time she wants to find out whether Baby Isaac has finished his milk.
Daddy Robin has decided to buy a brand new milk bottle for Baby Isaac.He needs you to tell himwhat to take note of when he buys another milk bottle,in terms of its material,so that Mummy Di does not need to open the cap of the milk bottle to check on Baby Isaac'milk consumption during each feed.
I think the material that best fit the milk bottle is plastic because plastic is transparent and it is not fragile.

Reflective time for science

There are many different ways that we use light in our home and two of them are :
1.We use the computer light to see what we are typing or playing.
2.We use the lamp light to see what we are playing.
The world will be lifeless without light as plants will not be able to make food and they will die and without plants we and all the other animals will soon run out of oxygen and die.

classroom cleanliness

I think my classroom is clean because the students in the classroom do their part to clean the classroom by sweeping the floor.Sometimes we clean the table after SA2.I think it is important to keep our class clean as it helps us to have good hygene.My classmates and I keep the classroom clean by cleaning the whiteboard,sweeping the floor and picking up litter.I participade in sweeping the floor and picking up litter.The school values that I learn from the classroom cleaning activity is excellence.

Is a desease and it is known as swine flu.It is still at orange alert but many people had caught this desease.Countrys try to prevent the spread of this desease by cleaning their hands before eating.I think the taking of temparature is effective in preventing influza A H1N1 to spread even more

SA1 Review

I thing all the SA1 papers are fair questions as all of them were taught by our teachers.I think I have done well for my last semester as I have improved some of my subjects.The factors that contribute to my success is that my mother and teachers teach me and I did some revision.I think the remedial and enrichment classment in school is helpful because they help us to learn further more on our subjects so that we will understand what our form teachers taught on the same topic.I would play less, do more revision and worksheets to improve on my results. I think the teachers should give more homework for us to practice so that we can score even better marks for our results after our SA1.

Heres a story about friendship.


One sunny Friday morning, our form teacher,Sam announced to the whole class,"We have a new student.His name is called Kevin.'' Kevin walked with his shoulder slumped and his head hung now. He wore torn shoes and dirty clothes. He obviously came from a poor family.

All the students started to tease him and nicknamed him as "Dustbinman" in a very unkind tone except Joshua.He did not argue,he just sobbed quietly. The form teacher did not hear the nickname or the sobbing as they were inaudible.

The next day,Sam gave out a test to the whole class. Kevin failed badly! Sam suggested that he should get a tutor but Kevin claimed that his family was to poor. Joshua, being a bright boy, sympathized him and he decided to help him by tutoring him for free every afternoon at two pm.Kevin and his family was really grateful about it and thanked him profusely.

Joshua confined to Sam about the loneliness and insult Kevin had gone through. The teacher reprimanded the class for hurting Kevin. They learnt a valuable lesson and apologized to him for their inconsideration.

Thereafter, Joshua tutored him for a month and they became best friends forever.

I think my CCA mates keep their belongings in the hall before our CCA and put their belongings in the classroom during the CCA.I don't think other people should always help to take care of their belongings because they have to take responsiblity for their own possessions.

The purpose of setting targets are to improved their grades in the various subjects.By helping myself to achieve my targets,I will read more,play less and do more revision paper work.My teachers and parents can teach me in my subjects so that I can motivate myself towards achieving my targets.

I am a Chinese and I celebrate Chinese New Year and being a Catholic,I also celebrate Chrismas.We celebrate Chinese New Year by visiting our relatives and friends.We greet each other Happy New Year and the elderly give the children red packets.The Indian celebrate Deepavali and the Malay celebrate Hari Raya Puassa.

The activities I am involve outside school are going for tuition, running, jogging, riding bicycle and swiming.I go for tuition only at Thursday, my tuition start at 3.00pm and ended at 4.30pm.I go for running everyday after I come back from school for about15 minutes at my void deck.I went for my jogging or riding bicycle at the nearby park around 5.30pm on Sarturday.I went for swiming on Sunday at 6.00pm.I think these activities are necessary for me as it help me to exercise or learn.These activities do not affect my studies.I do not feel stressed with all these activities etheir.I think pupils should be involved in outside school activities as it helps us to be strong and intellegent.

I saw very ill patients, doctors and nurses.I felt pitiful for the patients as they were ill and their relatives were not there to comfort them.After what I had seen, I realised health is very important and I decided to live a healthy life by eating right and do regular exercise to keep myself fit.Maybe if Ihave the time, I might pay them a visit at the hospital and help them out.
